Full Game Explanation
Birdie on a Perch is a camp-style icebreaker. Pairs scramble to find each other and freeze in a pose when the music stops. Last pair each round is out.
Setup. Everyone finds a partner and decides who is the Birdie and who is the Perch. Perches form an inner circle and walk one direction. Birdies form a larger circle around them and walk the opposite way. You’ll need music that can start and stop.
How to play. Both circles walk while the music plays. When the music stops, every Birdie runs to find their Perch. The Perch kneels on one knee; the Birdie sits on that knee. No pushing other players, no knocking people over, and no piggybacks. Don’t start hunting your partner before the music stops.
Elimination. The last pair to get into position is out. Shrink the circles and keep going until one pair remains.
