Here is how you play
Flyswatter Hockey is indoor hockey with flyswatters instead of sticks and a lightweight ball instead of a puck. Two teams try to hit the ball into the other team’s goal.
Setup. Split into two teams of about 3–6 players each. Give every player a flyswatter. Mark a playing area on a flat floor and put a goal at each end — two cones, chairs, or a taped box is enough. Use a ping pong ball or small wiffle ball as the puck. Optional: one goalie per team.
How to play. Start with the ball in the middle. Players can only move it with the flyswatter, kept low like a hockey stick. No picking the ball up with your hands. A goal counts when the ball goes through the other team’s goal. After a score, reset at center and play on.
Winning. Most goals when time is up (3–5 minutes is a good round), or first team to a set number.
Keep swings below the knees. Hitting another player with a swatter is a penalty — sit out briefly. Extra balls in play at once makes it faster and messier.
