Full Game Explanation
Guess the Gibberish is a two-team guessing game. Nonsense words, said out loud, hide a real phrase. A representative from one team comes up, reads the gibberish, and their teammates try to hear what it actually says.
Setup. Split into two teams. Keep a list of Gibberish phrases (and the real answers) where only the reader or a moderator can see them. Decide a time limit per turn — 30 to 60 seconds works well.
How to play. Teams take turns sending a representative up. That player gets a Gibberish line and reads it out loud, as many times as they want, changing the rhythm and emphasis. No extra hints, no spelling, no acting. Teammates shout guesses. If they get the real phrase before time runs out, the team scores a point. Then the other team sends a representative up.
Winning. First team to a set score wins, or play through the list and the team with more points wins.
