Full Game Explanation
Head, Shoulders, Knees, Cup is a reflex game for pairs. A caller names body parts; players touch whatever is called. When they hear “Cup!”, both dive for the cup in the middle. First to grab it wins the round.
Setup. Everyone finds a partner and stands facing each other. Put one cup on the floor between them, equal distance from both. You need one cup per pair and a caller.
How to play. The caller shouts body parts in any order and speed: head, shoulders, knees — and extras like toes, elbows, or ears if you want. Players touch that body part with both hands each time. They cannot touch the cup until the caller says “Cup!” Grab early and you lose the round. First player to pick up the cup after it’s called wins.
Winning. Winners find a new winning partner, losers sit or cheer, and you keep going until one person is left. Or just play rounds and give a point each time someone grabs the cup first.
The caller should mix the pace — repeat a body part, pause, then spring “Cup!” That’s the whole trick.
