Full Game Explanation
Who, What, Where (AKA - Telephone Charades) Divide the players into three acting groups of roughly equal size plus one designated guesser (or rotate who is the guesser). Prepare a list of Who / What / Where combinations in advance (or have a host invent them). Examples:
Who: the Pope What: a forest fire Where: outer space
Who: a pirate What: baking a cake Where: a volcano
How a round works
Groups 2 and 3 and the guesser leave the room.
Group 1 is given the secret Who, What, and Where. They have about 30 seconds to discuss how they will act it out.
Groups 2 and 3 return (or are brought in one at a time). Group 1 silently acts out the three elements with no talking, sound effects, or props.
After the performance, Group 2 gets ~30 seconds to discuss what they think they saw.
Group 2 then silently re-enacts their interpretation of the Who, What, and Where for Group 3.
Group 3 gets ~30 seconds to discuss, then silently acts out their version for the guesser.
The guesser names what they believe the original Who, What, and Where were. The acting team scores 1 point for each element correctly identified (maximum 3 points per round).
Rotate which group starts with the secret prompt (or which team supplies the guesser) so every group gets a turn. The team whose guesser scores the most total points wins.
The game thrives on misinterpretation—exactly like classic telephone—so the final acted version and the guesser’s answer are often hilariously different from the original prompt. No acting skill is required; commitment and silliness make it better.
